Videogame Preservation:
Practices and Approaches,
an Online Symposium - March 2026

In 2026 I helped organise and co-host a symposium alongside the team at Digital Scholarship at Oxford. The conference covered contemporary practices within museums, archives and libraries across the globe.

The day featured panellists from libraries, archives and the games industry, a lightning talk session, and the opportunity to build relationships with archivists and activists around the world.

Gaming the Gothic - April 2018

In 2018 I co-produced the first 'Gaming the Gothic' conference, generously funded by the White Rose College of Arts & Humanities and hosted by the University of Sheffield

The event sought to study the connection between Gothic literature, media, and video games. With 24 separate speakers presenting on an incredibly diverse range of topics, as well as a charity arcade that boasted games from The Chinese Room, Failbetter Games, Infinite Fall, Secret Lab, 22nd Century Toys and Laundry Bear, the event was a great success and helped raise money for mental health charity Mind
